Welcome to Bill Korum's Puyallup Nissan

The Kicks gets a Rock Creek grade for the first time, with standard all-wheel drive, Off-Road mode, Hill Descent Control and a roof rack rated for 165 pounds.
Rock Creek Comes to the Small SUV
The headline for 2027 is that Nissan put its Rock Creek treatment on the Kicks for the first time. That means standard all-wheel drive, a Rock Creek-exclusive Off-Road driving mode, Hill Descent Control, unique 17-inch wheels and a roof rack rated to carry 165 pounds.
The rest of the lineup carries over sensibly. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder makes 141 horsepower and 140 lb-ft through an Xtronic CVT, with front-wheel drive standard and intelligent all-wheel drive available on S, SV and SR. Every grade gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Cargo is the number that surprises people. The Kicks holds up to 30 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 60 cubic feet with them folded, which is a lot of room in a vehicle this easy to park on a side street in downtown Puyallup. Check the current Kicks inventory to see what is in stock.
Small Outside, Bigger Inside Than It Looks

Six Reasons It Fits a Pierce County Driveway
The Kicks is the small, sensible end of the Nissan SUV range. For a lot of South Sound households it is the right amount of car.
Rock Creek Brings Real AWD Hardware
Standard all-wheel drive, a Rock Creek-exclusive Off-Road driving mode with its own traction calibration, and Hill Descent Control. On a gravel road off SR-410 that is a different vehicle from a front-drive Kicks.
60 Cubic Feet With the Seats Down
Up to 30 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 60 with them folded. That is enough for a bike, a dorm move to UW Tacoma, or a full weekend of camping gear for two.
35 MPG Highway, 31 Combined
Front-wheel-drive Kicks rate 28 city, 35 highway and 31 combined. All-wheel drive rates 27, 34 and 30. For a commuter running SR-167 every day that is a genuinely low fuel bill.
A 12.3-Inch Screen on Every Grade
The 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard across the lineup, not held back for the top grade. SR adds an available 12.3-inch digital dashboard.
Safety Shield 360 as Standard
Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert come standard. Useful every single day in the South Hill retail corridor.
Easy to Park, Easy to Own
The Kicks is short enough for street parking in downtown Puyallup or a tight spot at the Tacoma Dome, and it still carries five people and their gear.
Heated Seats and a Roof Rack That Earns Its Keep
Rock Creek adds heated front seats, heated mirrors and rear heater ducts, which is a sensible package for a Washington winter and not something you find on every small SUV. It also gets gloss black exterior trim and amber daytime running lights, so it looks different from a distance.
The roof rack on Rock Creek is rated for 165 pounds. That figure is worth paying attention to, because it decides whether a rooftop box or a pair of kayaks for Lake Tapps is actually within spec rather than a guess.
Four Grades, One of Them New
S, SV and SR all offer a choice of front- or all-wheel drive. Rock Creek is all-wheel drive only and is the new addition for 2027.

The Right Size for the South Sound
Not every household here needs a three-row SUV. A Kicks handles the Meridian run, parks on a side street near Pioneer Park, and still swallows 60 cubic feet of gear when the back seats go down. For a first car, a commuter, or a second vehicle in a Bonney Lake driveway, the math works.
The Rock Creek grade changes what the Kicks can be asked to do. Standard all-wheel drive with a dedicated Off-Road mode and Hill Descent Control makes a Forest Service road or a snowy morning in Orting a reasonable proposition rather than an act of optimism.
We sell to buyers across Tacoma, Auburn, Federal Way, Sumner and Bonney Lake. If financing is the question, our finance team can start the conversation before you come in.
The First Car
Standard Safety Shield 360, a 12.3-inch screen and a low fuel bill make the Kicks an easy recommendation for a new driver heading to Pierce College or UW Tacoma.
The Second Car
Small enough to park anywhere in downtown Puyallup, big enough for a Costco run on South Hill. It fills the gap in a two-car household without eating the driveway.
The Weekend
Rock Creek's standard AWD, Off-Road mode and 165-pound roof rack rating turn a trip toward Mount Rainier or Lake Tapps into something the vehicle is actually rated for.

What South Sound Drivers Say
2027 Nissan Kicks Questions
What is new on the 2027 Nissan Kicks?
The big change is the new Rock Creek grade, the first time Nissan has applied Rock Creek to the Kicks. It brings standard all-wheel drive, a Rock Creek-exclusive Off-Road driving mode, Hill Descent Control, unique 17-inch wheels and a roof rack rated for 165 pounds.
It also adds gloss black exterior trim, amber daytime running lights, heated front seats and mirrors, and rear heater ducts.
Does the Nissan Kicks come with all-wheel drive?
Yes. Intelligent all-wheel drive is available on the S, SV and SR grades and standard on Rock Creek. Front-wheel drive is standard on the other three.
All-wheel drive costs about one mpg across the EPA cycle, moving from 31 combined to 30. On Pierce County roads through the wet season most buyers find that worth it.
How much cargo space does the 2027 Kicks have?
Up to 30 cubic feet behind the rear seats and up to 60 cubic feet with the rear seats folded, on front-wheel-drive models.
That is genuinely useful space for a vehicle this easy to park. It covers a bike, a full Costco run, or camping gear for a weekend at Lake Tapps.
What gas mileage does the 2027 Kicks get?
EPA estimates are 28 city, 35 highway and 31 combined with front-wheel drive, and 27, 34 and 30 with all-wheel drive.
For a daily commute between Puyallup and Tacoma on SR-512 that puts the Kicks among the cheaper vehicles to run in our lineup.
What does the Kicks Rock Creek grade include?
Standard intelligent all-wheel drive, a Rock Creek-exclusive Off-Road driving mode with its own traction calibration, Hill Descent Control, unique 17-inch wheels and a roof rack rated to 165 pounds.
It also gets gloss black exterior trim, amber daytime running lights, heated front seats and mirrors, and rear heater ducts, which is a well-judged package for a Washington winter.
How much weight can the Kicks Rock Creek roof rack carry?
The Rock Creek roof rack is rated for 165 pounds. That is the number to work from when you are sizing a rooftop cargo box or a kayak carrier.
Always check the combined weight of the rack accessory plus your load against that rating before a trip toward Mount Rainier or Lake Tapps.
Can I test drive a 2027 Kicks in Puyallup?
Yes. We are at 101 Valley Ave NW in Puyallup, a short drive from Sumner, Bonney Lake, Tacoma, Auburn and Federal Way.
